A one-person app studio
Small apps that get one thing right.
Hammerlore Softworks builds software for iPhone, iPad, Mac and the browser. No account, no ads, no trackers - and every app at its own address.

The applications
Anything that runs in the browser gets its own subdomain of hlsw.app, so the address bar tells you whose app it is before the page has finished loading. An app for the Mac gets a page describing it instead. Übomat has its own domain and is keeping it.
Übomat
uebomat.de
In preparation
A vocabulary trainer for schoolchildren that belongs to the parents.
The child practises on an iPhone or iPad; the parents enter the words
and check the progress, on their own device or on the Mac. The
material comes out of the child's exercise book, not out of a
catalogue. No account, no server, no advertising.
Countimus
hlsw.app/en/countimus
On the App Store
Countdowns for iPhone and iPad. The days until the holiday, the
birth, the report card - and the days since the last time. The
number sits on the home screen and the lock screen. No account, no
ads, no trackers.
Pikta
hlsw.app/en/pikta
In preparation
Screenshots for the Mac. Press a shortcut and the picture is on the
clipboard - then an editor with seventeen tools, layers, and a
library that only keeps things if you want it to. No account, no
network, no crash reporting.
Zahlomat
hlsw.app/en/zahlomat
In preparation
Practising maths on iPhone and iPad, school years 1 to 7. The
exercises are generated instead of coming from a list - and after a
mistake it says which one it was: carry over ten forgotten, place
value slipped. Same household as Übomat. The app's interface is
German. No account, no server, no ads.
Clippimo
hlsw.app/en/clippimo
In preparation
Mixing videos and photos into a collage, for children aged 7 to 13
on iPhone and iPad. Frames, stickers, effects, an emoji over a
face, a spoken comment - and the film stays on the device until
the child shares it. The app's interface is German. No account, no
network, no ads.
